This is my magazine using the image from the Barbie project. I tried to make it like a teen girl celebrity gossip magazine. It looks alright, I suppose. The only thing I would change is NPH and make him look better, but you can read all about that in the Barbie Project post.
It’s like Neil Patrick Harris just walked out of a Katy Perry video :) which is a good thing since you were going for the teen magazine look. One thing that you might consider is making the title of the magazine a little bigger/bolder. i.e. “AAA Weekly” could have been much bigger with “the land of” either above or even on top of the other lettering. Just a thought.
